ARTIMATIONx電影少女のコラボシリーズ。

ART=(アート) / ARTIST=(アーティスト) / ANIMATION=(アニメーション)という 3つのAを主体として創り上けられた造語をブランド名に掲げ、様々なコラボレーションをゲリラ的に計画していく「ARTIMATION」(アーティメーション)。
今回、「ARTIMATION」企画 第一弾のコラボレーションとして選出したのは桂 正和氏によるSF恋愛漫画作品「電影少女」。「ARIMATION」のフィルターを通して、作品を今に蘇らせ、現代のアニメファンに対して、作品の素晴らしさをデザインで表現する。

『電影少女』は、桂正和先生によるSF恋愛漫画作品として1989-1992年まで連載。
ピュアな心の持ち主にしか見えないレンタルビデオ店において貸し出される特殊なビデオテープから実体として現れる「少女・ビデオガール」と、その少女達の助けを必要としている恋に悩む少年を中心として、その少年の恋愛模様を描いている。
